About Milwaukee 2656-20 M18 18V 1/4 Inch Lithium Ion Hex Impact Driver
Overall Feedback:
95% positive
85% appreciated the long-lasting battery life
The Milwaukee batteries last forever and the tool is fairly light in hand.
The battery life is great and lasts forever on a charge with the large M18 battery.
88% appreciated the durable and rugged build
I can easily drive drywall screws, lags 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 with the impact driver.
90% praised for its performance
I am amazed by the speed and power of this new driver compared to the previous model.
I can drive large lag bolts easily with this model, even though it is less powerful than fuel models.
I can use the impact driver to drive tough bolts for fence installation and remove lug nuts from vehicles. It can perform all the tasks.
I found that the impact driver has enough power to break loose most fasteners, including larger brake and suspension related stuff. It is easy to modulate, just like using a ratchet, and once you get a feel for it, it's easy to put consistent torque on a fastener.
When the screw starts to bind and the weak point in the Philips head, the tool does not slow down or gear down.
93% found it lightweight and easy to carry
The impact driver is small enough to carry around.
67% appreciated the adjustable speed settings
I am amazed with the speed and power of the new model compared to the previous one.
The tool is three times faster than my electric or air ratchet and twice as fast as my electric drill.
I noticed that my friend was screwing boards down 4 times faster than me until I used the driver, indicating that it has a high speed setting.

The Milwaukee power-impact-driver is quieter, more powerful, and lighter than the Makita. It also runs longer on a two amp battery than the Makita 12 V does on a 3 amp battery.
Putting in screws is now one of the easiest and most exciting parts of my day.
