I am unsure about the impact driver's battery life, but I plan to purchase bigger batteries to get more out of it.
The battery life of our power-impact-driver is good enough to run for 3 minutes before spinning off the oxygen sensor.
I thought the difference between the two products was just the battery capacity.
83% appreciated the durable and rugged build, while 17% experienced breakage
The chuck design works flawlessly and is ingenious, indicating good build quality of the power-impact-driver.
I put all the bits, sockets and the charger in the included Bosch bag. The tool is amazing.

85% praised for its performance
I don't need the 1800 in-lb torque.
I was unable to remove the oxygen sensor by hand, but the Bosch impact drill motor and impact wrench made it easy. The tool started hammering and slowly turned.
81% found it lightweight and easy to carry, but 19% thought it was too heavy
While trying to drive a wood screw, the bit kept coming out.
91% appreciated the adjustable speed settings, while 9% found them limited
I use this brushless impact tool for drilling, driving screws, and for 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 sockets.
I ran the tool for 3 minutes before it spun off the oxygen sensor and I realized I couldn't have removed it by hand.
I noticed that the product lacks a speed/torque adjustment knob.
The Milwaukee power-impact-driver is quieter, more powerful, and lighter than the Makita. It also runs longer on a two amp battery than the Makita 12 V does on a 3 amp battery.
The battery life is good. I can go several days or maybe a few weeks between charges. It also charges quickly.
