I was surprised by how well the trimmer cut and the size of the brush it could handle. It could chop through any stiff brush and even small trees.
I found that the power hedge trimmer performed extremely well on weed grasses, vines and even pencil thick branches. Although it struggled a little with thicker stuff, it did manage to cut through it.
I feel that the blade quality could be improved as it is not sharp enough.
