I tested the trimmer on three fountain grass plants with less than two bars of battery power, expecting to drain the battery. However, the battery did not die. I then went on to cut twelve plants, creeper, briers, and some overhead small branches without killing the battery. This indicates that the battery life of the trimmer is more than what I expected.
After using the hedge trimmer twice, I went to recharge the battery and the charger would not turn on.
83% liked the sharp and durable blades, yet 17% found them dull quickly
The blades are very sharp and the tool runs smoothly across the shrubs.
After 20 minutes of use, 2 of my blades started scoring/bending, which raises concerns about the longevity of the trimmer if used frequently.
The blades are connected to the drive system with little lugs that are pressed in. Unfortunately, the one on the bottom blade has pulled out, indicating a design and manufacturing flaw.
90% praised its sturdy construction, yet 10% felt it was flimsy
I am happy with the replacement of my old corded Craftsman hedge trimmer with this new cordless one. It was a pain to keep up with the electrical cord which I cut through and had to patch about 5 times over the years.
The trimmer cannot be shortened and is heavy, but it works well.
After 20 minutes of use, the blades started scoring/bending, which raises concerns about the trimmer's durability with frequent use.
I think the product's design and manufacturing are flawed.
87% liked excellent cutting performance, but 13% found it struggled with thicker branches.
After cleaning the blades with oil, I saw no chips or bends in them. They were so sharp that they cut my thumb.
The trimmer is powerful, easy to use, and trims with little effort. It also lasts a long time on a 2.0ah Greenworks battery.
After 20 minutes of use, 2 blades started scoring/bending, which raises concerns about the durability of the trimmer if used extensively.
82% liked its user-friendly design, while 18% found it cumbersome
The cordless hedge trimmer is powerful, easy to use, and lasts a long time on a 2.0ah Greenworks battery.
The trimmer has a nice rotating handle and is decently balanced for its length.
I find the bulk of the tool and inability to reduce the size difficult to use, resulting in a rating of 3.
71% liked the low noise level, while 29% found it too loud
I am unable to use the hedge trimmer as the battery cannot be charged.
71% appreciated its portability, though 29% found it heavy
I find the product heavy, but it cuts very well.
The tool is hard to control due to its length of 103 inches.
87% liked its versatility for various tasks, but 13% found it limited
I wish this unit had the ability to have other attachments like a string trimmer.
I find it difficult to balance the tool due to the weight of the motor at the end of the long pole.
82% highlighted its minimal vibration, although 18% experienced significant vibration
Balancing the motor on a pole as long as this one is difficult due to its end weight, as I have mentioned.
I was surprised that the battery lasted throughout the usage without needing recharging, unlike my previous hand blower which lasted only 2 minutes and needed recharging.
After pruning boxwood, weeds, vines and saplings for over an hour, the battery is still strong.
