I was able to drill a hole through a really hard 3/8 thick ceramic flower pot in less than a minute using the power-hammer-drill, which is a significant improvement over the 10 minutes it took with a regular drill.

I got an amazing hammer drill that served me faithfully for over 3 years until I got a little cocky and lazy with it. I recently drilled close to 200 holes non-stop through stucco and the drill got a little warm, but I tired far before it did.
I had to use maximum torque and apply a lot of force to free the drill, indicating its poor performance.

This tool is powerful and fast. It drilled a hole through a really hard 3/8 thick ceramic flower pot in less than a minute.
I did not think the drill would be able to do the job, but it surprisingly performed well.
The hammer drill is light and has solid mechanisms like reverse, gears, torque clutch. The price is amazing for a hammer drill with real guts.

I deducted one star because a coworker broke it, but I was happy with the quick replacement.
I have used a hammer drill for outdoor projects and it lasted for over 3 years. I got a little overconfident and lazy with it, which eventually caused it to die. It worked well for drilling through stucco and even handled drilling through a 4" concrete slab for the first few holes. However, when I tried to drill a 1/2 inch hole straight away, it got caught on something hard and the gears cracked.

I have learned the limits of the drill and will avoid abusing it in the future. I have put a second one on my wishlist just in case.
