About Makita XPH12Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1/2" Hammer Driver-Drill
72% appreciated the long-lasting battery life, but 28% experienced frequent battery drain
I love the brushless drill for its battery life and lightweight design.
After 2-3 uses, the drill became stuck in the hammer drill setting.
I have noticed issues with the 18 volt battery on the drill.
I noticed that the drill stalls easily, indicating poor battery life.
81% impressed with the drill's durability, while 19% experienced frequent breakdowns
My drill is mind-blowingly powerful and has not got stuck on any setting, indicating the durability of power-hammer-drills.
I have noticed that the drill's plastic trigger housing and handle become flimsy when it binds with augur or holesaw.
The chuck failed on me after a while. It's a toy and should not be found on a 'MAKITA' hammer-drill.
I find this power hammer drill to be not durable and trash.
78% found it easy to use, but 22% found it difficult
I find the drill comfortable to hold with impressive power despite its compact and lightweight design.
The tool got stuck in hammer drill mode and I can no longer set it to drill or drive, causing inconvenience.
71% liked the comfortable grip, but 29% found it bulky
The hammer drill is fairly compact and lightweight, yet comfortable to hold and has impressive power.
The drill is smaller than the previous model and if you have large hands like me, you tend to hit the switch that triggers it from going in one direction or the other unnecessarily. The worst part is that it gets stuck in Hammer mode, which is not so bad for me because I use Hammer mode a lot in my line of work. However, I would warn people that this is the case with this drill.
I suggest redesigning the model and recalling it due to poor ergonomics design.
67% appreciated the low noise level, while 33% found it loud and vibratory
I haven't mentioned anything specific about the noise level of the drill.
I did not mention the noise level of the power hammer drill.
82% found the hammer effective, while 18% experienced variable results
I have not experienced any issues with the drill's power or settings.
At low speed, I noticed that the drill has a lot of torque.
Since September, I have been unable to set the tool to drill or drive as it has been stuck in hammer drill mode.
78% impressed with the powerful motor, while 22% found it underpowered
I have been using the drill and it is incredibly powerful, never getting stuck on any setting.
I find the drill to be smaller and lighter, yet just as powerful.
After using the drill for a while, its speed started to hiccup and it has gotten progressively worse.
