I connected my 18-24v power tool battery from a powerwheel to this product and converted it to a 12v to connect to my inverter.
I used the device with a 36V Ryobi battery and ran 12V appliances as well as a 12V-120V AC inverter.
The product works solid for my DC Load by pulling directly from the DC 24 volt batteries and converting to 12 v DC.

I am using the power-converter to step down the voltage from my Dewalt battery. It regulates perfectly as advertised, although there is a slight delay in output. However, it can still be used for other things that can deal with the delay.
The power-converter did not keep a steady voltage and fluctuated to 6 volts, causing problems with my depth finder.
