I was able to plug multiple phones and devices at the same time and use USB A to USB C adapters without any issues.

The power converter works great with my 100W device straight out of the box, with zero confusion. Although most modern devices can use either one, the device manufacturer explicitly stated that it is NOT designed to work on 240V power.
I experienced an issue with Ceptics Voltage Converter overheating my phone's USB port and battery due to the overheating of the USB cord. However, I found that Bestek '6A 4-Port USB Charging 3 AC Sockets and EU/UK/AU/US/India' helped me keep my phone charged through USB charging on battery saver for the rest of the trip.
