96% appreciated the adjustable depth control, though 4% found it limited
I have compared the firing mechanism of this SKIL brad nailer with a pneumatic tool and noticed a split second delay as the tool winds up to fire the brad. I have also compared it with my Metabo HPT brad nailer and it fires instantaneously with trigger pull.
97% appreciated the easy loading and unloading, while 3% struggled with the process
The firing of the brad is significantly different than a pneumatic. With a pneumatic, the brad fires immediately with the trigger pull. This SKIL brad nailer has a split second delay as the tool winds up to fire the brad. In comparison, my Metabo HPT brad nailer fires instantaneously with trigger pull just like a pneumatic. This SKIL nailer takes some getting used to as I can't go as fast it's easy to pull the tool away too soon due to the delay in firing, causing brads to not sink entirely.
74% liked the quiet operation, though 26% found it excessively loud
I compared the firing of a brad between a pneumatic and this SKIL brad nailer. The SKIL brad nailer has a split second delay as the tool winds up to fire the brad.

96% found it to be lightweight and portable, but 4% found it too heavy
I find this SKIL brad nailer quite heavy, almost one and a half pounds heavier than my cordless Metabo HPT nailer, which could make it difficult to carry or maneuver.
I have compared the firing mechanism of this SKIL brad nailer with a pneumatic tool and noticed a split second delay as the tool winds up to fire the brad. I have also compared it with my Metabo HPT brad nailer and it fires instantaneously with trigger pull.
I am impressed with the performance of the power-brad-nailer and have not faced any issues yet. However, there is no specific information related to battery life.
