The best feature of the product is its safety feature. I tried stapling a piece of styrofoam and nothing happened. Then, I tried it on a piece of wood at the correct angle and it worked perfectly. This feature prevents accidental stapling of me or my husband. The product is satisfying to use and not too loud.
