About Metabo HPT 18V MultiVolt Cordless Brad Nailer Kit
Overall Feedback:
73% positive
80% appreciated the adjustable depth control, though 20% found it limited
On the new model, the depth adjustment knob is on the left side, which is typical for most brad nailers, whereas on the old model it was on the right hand side of the tool.
I had to adjust the power-brad-nailer multiple times to sink the brads into the wood. I tried shorter brads and fiddled with the wheel multiple times before it finally worked.
69% liked the long-lasting battery life, but 31% found it too short
I suspect that this brad nailer will last as long as my impact driver, which I use every day.
I am not happy with the battery life of the product. The battery does not have an indicator and the gun's indicator is not very useful with only 2 lights.
After a year of usage, my battery or charger has malfunctioned and won't charge.
82% praised the durable and low-maintenance design, though 18% experienced issues with wear and tear
I have been using Metabo/Hitachi HPT tools for a long time and have never faced any problem with performance or durability.
I bought a replacement soft tip for the nailer as the original one was missing. However, the new bumper tip fell off after just one use, indicating a bad design or material used.
I feel that the tool is sturdy in my hand, but it is not performing as advertised.
87% appreciated the easy loading and unloading
I am excited about how easy it is to use this tool. It will make building furniture faster without needing to hook up the air compressor.
I found it easy to load nails into the nailer, similar to most any air gun.
88% liked the quiet operation, though 12% found it excessively loud
My only real complaint with the nailer is that it automatically turns off after 10-15 minutes, which can be inconvenient if I need to use it for an extended period of time.
85% found it to be a high-performance nailer
I found that the product outperforms my 400$ Makita and shoots through any wood without any issue.
86% found it to be lightweight and portable
The nailer is easy to carry around because it is small and light.

On the new model, the depth adjustment knob is on the left side, which is typical for most brad nailers, whereas on the old model it was on the right hand side of the tool.
I can adjust the brad depth via a spinning dial that increases the trigger tip length and allows for very fine adjustment.
