Overall Feedback:
84% positive
74% appreciated the adjustable ricing settings
The potato ricer works very well with its unique shape.
The potato ricer worked perfectly for me and I love the fact that it is idiot proof. Although, it would have been better if I had removed the peels first.
79% appreciated the durable construction, while 21% found it flimsy
I have used other round units in the past that deformed when used, but this unit is very sturdy and has not deformed.
I used the potato ricer to squish other things like lemons and I smashed down pretty hard.
On the second use, the handle bent and the bracing plate popped out due to improper welding or connection design.
82% liked how easy it was to clean
The potato ricer is sturdy and easy to clean. It leaves some potato in the bottom, but it is as easy to clean as any other ricer I have used.
Smashing normal soft potatoes is not an issue.
85% found it effortless to rice potatoes, while 15% had difficulties
I made the best mashed potatoes using a potato ricer, which were far superior to those mashed by hand.
The potato ricer has a large area to place potatoes, is efficient and quick, and produces perfectly riced potatoes. It is also easy to clean and store.
I use the potato ricer to make mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole. It is easy to use for these purposes.
I found it difficult to push all the potato through, despite being a strong guy.
65% liked the comfortable grip, but 35% experienced discomfort
I doubt a standard size lady could bend it, indicating the grip comfort may not be suitable for everyone.
After holding the potato ricer, I found it quite heavy and agreed with others that it would be painful to use without wrapping the handle in a towel.
When I press it, the ricer feels sturdy and does not feel like it will fall apart.
