The frames are easy to assemble and slide a poster into. The frame edges just slide off, remove the photo insert from between the backing and the acrylic, remove the thin film protecting the face side of the acrylic in a satisfying manner, line up the poster with the acrylic, replace the backing and slide the frame edges back on to reassemble.
