After spraying the pole with black satin Rust-Oleum before installation, the end result looks great.
The design of this mailbox is poor as it raises the mailbox from the mounting surface, creating a gap due to its design. This leaves the bolt-type heads of the mounting hardware exposed in this gap at the rear of the box and plainly visible. If the rear of my box is visible, I would avoid this model.
The mailbox's design is awkward and it does not hold as much mail as I thought it would.
