I live in an area where mailbox theft and destruction is exceptionally high, but so far my mail remains untouched. This could be an indication of the durability of my mailbox.
After a few months of purchase, the key/lock mechanism failed and I had to drill out the lock to get my mail out.
I am having a hard time finding a suitable replacement lock because the locking mechanism is completely unique.
