About Architectural Mailboxes Hillsborough Galvanized Steel Post Mount Mailbox
Overall Feedback:
94% positive
92% liked the modern design
The color of my mailbox is nice even though it is not copper.
In the sunlight, the color of the mailbox is more of a brownish copper.
I looked at a lot of mailbox options and this one is my favorite.
The mailbox has a cast aluminum handle and trim and is made of all galvanized metal.
89% praised for its durability
I am happy with the result and do not expect any sturdiness issue. I have seen reviews from other users who have reported sturdiness issues, but I do not think that will be the case with this mailbox.
The mailbox is easy to open and close, and postal workers appreciate not having to yank or force it.
The mailbox is durable enough to keep the mail inside and not get affected by wind.
81% found it easy to install, while 19% had difficulties
I wish the mailbox came with mounting hardware, which would be an easy addition at this price point.
I installed the mailbox solo on top of a post and had to get creative with the hardware since it didn't come with it.
92% praised the high-quality material, while 8% found it flimsy
I love the mailbox because it is made of solid thick metal and of high quality, unlike most flimsy mailboxes.
I wish the mailbox came with mounting hardware at this price point.
87% appreciated the advanced security features, but 13% found them easily bypassed
I suggest making a flat mounting board to attach to the horizontal arm and then attaching the box to it using screws or nails.
Despite the mail door being broken, the previously used mailbox held up after years of abuse.
