I chose a red color for my mailbox to avoid it being hit by farm equipment or snow plows, which was a problem with the previous black or dark green mailboxes.
The mailbox has a secured magnetic closure on the door and is sturdy.
The only drawback is the lack of an easy way to plug the inside holes to keep bugs/spiders out.

I have complained about the durability of the mailbox, specifically the hinges that hold the door on. The rivet doesn't always hold and one has popped out on me after two months of ownership. The metal door then hangs on the other side and bends. I am concerned about how often this will happen and what it will do to the metal door in the long run.
At least 5 mailboxes were destroyed by farm equipment and snow plows because they were not visible in rain or dark due to being black or dark green.
The hinges are not durable and do not hold up well.
