About Portable 4 Inch Digital TV with USB
90% appreciated the long-lasting battery
The battery life lasts for about 90 minutes on charge, but with a 12Volt battery pack like ours, it runs for hours. This was useful during hurricane Irma when we lost power.
86% found the connectivity convenient, but 14% experienced connection issues
After attaching the August USB amplified antenna, I received 14 channels and there was no fade out with the two channels I needed.
I am still experimenting with antennas to find the best reception.
I followed the instructions for running it on Air versus cable only to find out it would receive NO stations.
I spent hours trying to get a decent signal in a major city with only 2 major channels, but was unsuccessful.
84% appreciated the ergonomic design, but 16% found it uncomfortable to hold
I purchased the product and am wondering how it will work out.
The viewing angles of the TV are horrible and it is not comfortable to watch if I am not sitting directly in front of it with the screen perfectly perpendicular to my eyeline.
I called the design of the base 'inexcusably bad' and expressed dissatisfaction.
The stand is useless.
90% liked its lightweight and compact design, but 10% found it heavy
The rechargeable battery is a great feature of our product.
The TV is cute and small, but it's difficult to take it mobile as it must sit on a base.
88% praised the crisp and clear screen, while 12% found it pixelated
I have noticed that the viewing angles on this TV are horrible. The manufacturer website lists 165 degrees as the viewing angle, but I estimate it to be around 45 degrees horizontally and half that vertically. It has the narrowest viewing angle of any screen I have seen in years.
On some channels, faces on people look unnatural and plasticky, but the pictures come in clear.
The TV has an amazingly capable antenna and is incredibly flexible, but the viewing angles are very poor.
83% praised the clear and loud speakers, but 17% found them lacking in bass
The sound quality of the TV is very poor. I had to hook it up to a good quality radio to get better sound.
When I used a microSD and card adaptor, the sound quality was very low.
