About ByronStatics Portable Disc CD player
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
66% found it durable , but 34% experienced wear and tear
I faced issues such as defects right out of the box, minimum volume too loud when using efficient headphones, and damage to CDs due to cap head screws in the lid which can contact the CD if the player is bumped or jostled.
62% highlighted the supported formats, yet 38% encountered issues
My main complaint is that the buttons are small and all one color, making it difficult to identify each function.
65% appreciated the audio quality, but 35% raised concerns
With a good pair of earpuds, I can hear nice and quite loud audio. Although, I can hear the CD spinning through the earpuds, but it's not a significant issue.
The audio quality is terrible and extremely low. I tried listening to music cd, book on cd and different types of headphones but still the audio quality was bad.
69% liked the anti-skip protection, although 31% found it ineffective
I thought the noise issue was related to the anti-skip protection, but it got better after a minute. I also noticed that the noise went from noisy to silent or vice versa when I barely touched the unit.
I faced issues such as defects right out of the box, minimum volume too loud when using efficient headphones, and damage to CDs due to cap head screws in the lid which can contact the CD if the player is bumped or jostled.
The portable CD player has all the features one would expect from a Walkman-type CD player, including a pair of high-quality earbuds for private listening.
Portable CD players are good while they last, but they don't last long. I am disappointed that they seem to need replacing every 18 months on average.
