About Pyle Dual Stereo Cassette Tape Deck
64% appreciated the long battery life, while 36% found it drained quickly
After barely a dozen plays/recordings, the unit stopped working, indicating poor battery life.
The cassette player did not turn on after 2 days of usage, indicating poor battery life.
81% praised its rugged and reliable design, but 19% had issues with fragile parts
I bought the product because it had the best ratings and reliability on Amazon.
I had to buy a new one after wasting money on vintage second hand units that would break after a short time.
The deck supports playback and recording of chrome tapes, which is great.
I have complained about the faulty mechanism on the play side, causing noisy and distorted output.

79% liked the ease of use, but 21% had trouble
The product has great sound and is easy to use. It also has a comprehensive software system to transfer cassettes to the computer using various file types.
I made a mixed tape of some of my favorite music, something I had not done in probably over 25 years.
The USB input is loose and comes unplugged mid-transfer. I have to re-adjust the gain every time I plug it in USB again. Additionally, there is no headphone jack which is annoying.
It was not easy to use the portable cassette player with my newer laptop. I had to use an older laptop to make it work.
80% found it easy to carry around
The cassette player works perfectly and has a USB port to record old favourites. Some tapes like Rachmaninov Russian Choir singing his Vespers, in the Orthodox Christian style, deep voices - copied years ago from a CD, would be hard to remake.
90% praised the clear and crisp sound, but 10% found it muffled
The sound quality is as good as the tape being played.
The sound quality is poor and not worth transferring to MP3 devices.
The sound quality from our working deck was unremarkable.
