About Casio Casiotone CT-S1BK 61-Key Portable Keyboard
Overall Feedback:
94% positive
93% liked the variety of connectivity options
I have been using the MIDI port to play Steinway and Bechstein sound using my MacBook Air with Pianoteq 7.
There are output options for headphones and external sound, and it can connect with different types of inputs to play along with a song or learning app.
78% liked the intuitive display and interface, but 22% found it confusing
There are 61 unique and inspiring sounds available on the keyboard.
The keyboard's only downside is the lack of an LED screen, making it difficult to learn key assignments for instruments and functions.
90% appreciated the long-lasting durability
The keyboard feels sturdy and solid despite being lightweight.
The unit has an attractive minimal appearance and sturdy build, making it comparable to the best of them.
88% liked the responsive and weighted keys
At a fraction of the cost of a mechanical piano, I have been able to carry over the dynamic range of the source instrument using the Casio system.
The key resistance is less than a normal piano but still enough to play notes quickly. It also provides relief for carpel tunnels.
90% found it incredibly lightweight and portable, but 10% thought it was too bulky
This keyboard is super light and easy to carry. I love the fact that it has straps for holding.
The keyboard is perfect for portability and easy to carry around, even for someone who is not strong upper bodied person.
There is a trade-off between portability and fully weighted keys on the keyboard.
The keyboard handle is useful but would be better as a two-direction cavity. I wouldn't want to carry it more than half a mile using the handle, but it's equipped to take a guitar strap.
92% praised the rich and clear sound, while 8% found it lacking in depth
The sound quality is good, but I sacrificed variety of tones for better quality per tone.
I found that the onboard sounds are of high quality and there are more sounds that can be accessed by reading the manual. Additionally, there are 10 classic Casio sounds.
The sound quality, tuning, and volume were intolerable for me.
I did not mention anything about the connectivity options of my portable-arranger-keyboard.
