About 49-Key Portable Keyboard (FOLDPIANO49)
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
86% liked the variety of connectivity options, but 14% found them limited
I have not faced any issues with the keys not being recognized by Apps such as Flowkey & Yousican when connected to MIDI.
The product has 49 keys and is designed for portability with accurate width keys.
I suggest improving the sound quality by connecting the piano to an iPad or computer and running the Garageband app.
I faced a problem while connecting the midi cable to my iPad to use the SimplyPiano app.
66% liked the intuitive display and interface, but 34% found it confusing
The product is designed for portability with accurate width keys and 49-keys.
Plugging in headphones before playing enhances the experience.
The form factor of our product is quite nice as it folds up small yet unfolds into a reasonably nice layout.
I have to scroll through the 128 sounds on the keyboard to get to the one I want, but most of them are rubbish.
86% appreciated the long-lasting durability, but 14% found it stopped working very soon
The keyboard is very portable as it is lightweight and foldable.
I found the overall build quality quite good, especially the magnetic closure when folded.
I'm not sure who this product is for. It's too expensive and fragile for kids, but too mediocre for adults.
I feel that the product is cheaply made and fragile.
79% liked the responsive and weighted keys, but 21% found them too light
The keys are full width but not full length. They have no velocity sensitivity and very short travel with a clicky action, so the feel is somewhere between a piano and a synth controller.
The key action is sloppy and makes clunky noises when keys are pressed. However, I can live with it since it is an inexpensive bed piano.
The key action is not standard, it's like a computer keyboard. It got stuck 5 times in 5 minutes while playing.
The keyboard doesn't feel like classic keys and hitting keys can sound like a computer keyboard.
The keys feel wider than regular keys, which makes me feel like I might be learning incorrectly.
The keys have a small travel distance and are sensitive enough to activate with a light brush against the top of one.
The keys make a clacky sound when played and are not weighted or velocity-sensitive.
86% found it incredibly lightweight and portable
I got the 49-key version of the Cary-On for maximum portability. I wanted something I could toss into a suitcase so I could keep up my piano practice while I am away on business.
I find the portability of the keyboard to be its main attraction, as it allows me to practice my fingering while traveling.
The keyboard is portable and can fit in a backpack. It also runs on a USB rechargeable battery.
88% praised the rich and clear sound, while 12% found it lacking in depth
The sound quality is not great and it does not come close to the feel of playing a real piano.
The sound quality is very poor.
The sound quality is not up to the mark and it sounds like I am straining right out of the box.
The built-in speakers have a tinny sound and are of poor quality.
I use this keyboard as a MIDI keyboard, which is a connectivity option of portable-arranger-keyboards.
