The SereneLife Slaght128 is the best single-hose air conditioner I have read about, with a cooling power of 12,000 BTU per hour and an energy efficiency rating of 9.6. It is quite adequate for rooms of up to 400+ square feet.
The machine effectively cools my room and maintains an even temperature.
The AC can cool my average sized bedroom in 5-7 minutes and family room/kitchen open space in 10-15 minutes.

If you have the space and can fit the exhaust and window kit in your window, the unit will work perfectly.
The portable air conditioner comes with a hose/window kit.
The cord is not long, so an extension cord may be necessary. The vent pipe must be able to accommodate it. Hot air comes out of the vent pipe, so one end should be placed in an open window. I have used it with a window that has a screen and it worked perfectly.
