About Sun2Solar Blue 24-Foot Round Solar Cover
Overall Feedback:
76% positive
63% highlighted its low maintenance requirements, however 37% found it demanding
The only drawback of this pool safety cover is that when it rains, the rainwater has no way of draining down into the pool and just sits on top. I have to either scoop it off or skim through it and clean out as much crap as possible before pulling the cover up on to the deck allowing it to drain off into the pool.
The cover catches a lot of debris and is hard to clean due to its size.
70% found it weather resistant, but 30% raised issues
The cover lasted for about a year in the sun before it started breaking down where it wasn't touching the water.
After using the product for 3 days, the temperature of my pool has risen by 5 degrees.
72% liked its durability, while 28% were concerned about longevity
The cover is of good quality and durable enough to be used from May to September. It is also easy to fold and maneuver around the pool.
After just over 90 days of use, the cover is shredding to pieces.
Within two weeks of use, one of the two seams on the pool safety cover started to separate, indicating a problem with the material durability.
After using the product for a few weeks, the plastic has become almost brittle and has cracked in some spots.

The previous solar cover that came with our pool was made of lighter material and did not even last for a year before it started to break down and clog the filters.
The pool temperature reached 92 degrees while friends without covers in full sun topped out at 86 degrees.
