I am impressed with the slicing capability of the knife, especially the kukri type blade. It goes through thick cardboard like warm butter and came razor sharp as all Cold Steels do too.

The Spartan knife feels comfortable in my hand, even with a reverse grip (icepick grip), as the handle fits comfortably and is held in place by its shape.
The grivory grips are secure and grippy, so I don't have to worry about the knife slipping out of my hand while using it.
The grip fits my hand perfectly, despite my gloves being XL to XXL size. I'm confused by the negative reviews about the grip being too narrow for hands.
