Over time, the area around the seal on the spigot cracked and now it leaks when poured.
After a year of use, the spout design snapped and it is fragile.
I am concerned about the durability of the pitcher's spigot. I am not confident that it can be properly cleaned and suspect it will be a point of failure in the future.
I have already purchased 3 units of the product and the first 2 broke at the nozzle in less than 7 months. It would be an easy and inexpensive fix if the company cared about its reputation, customers, or quality.

It is much easier to use than the smaller Pur filter pitcher. It makes filling the coffee pot and water kettle a one-stop deal instead of filling and waiting and filling again.
My grandpa, who was in France during WWII, loves it and is amazed by the technology and ease of operation.
The pitcher is easy to carry and fill in the sink with its design, and it holds more than enough water.

After putting the new filter on and using the dispenser a couple of times, I noticed that the water now filters very fast.
I like that the filter operates slowly, which makes me question whether it is actually doing the job if it fills quickly.
This product is a good value for the price. I compared it with another brand I had bought before and found it to be much slower. It was my first time using a water filter pitcher and I was not sure what to expect in terms of speed. Hopefully, this information will help others make a decision.
I don't mind the slower filtration speed because it tells me that the filter is actually working. I also wonder how the BRITA filter can filter so quickly and do a thorough job.
