The plastic covering the water when pouring is very thin and may not be durable.

I learned that the amount of air trapped in the filter influences the filter speed.
With the Epic pitcher, water goes through the filter faster. However, there may be no correlation between the speed of water passing through and its efficacy.
The filtering speed of the pitcher has changed significantly. Initially, the water poured through the filter very fast, but now it takes about 10 minutes to filter the water. I am perplexed by this change and feel that this is not the same experience as with the first filter.
Between 15 and 20 days of use, the pitcher-water-filter slowed down and took 2 hours to fill, whereas initially it would fill in 10 to 15 minutes.
