The paper replacement is more expensive but the printing quality is a lot better.
I have complained about the texture of the photo-paper and the sticky on the back of the paper is not permanent.
I have found that the photo paper is not sticky enough to stay put on paper, and I have had to use a photo glue stick to keep the photos in place because they just come off the page if the paper is bent even a little.
