I love the beautiful finish of this paper - it's glossy with a slight texture that reflects inkjet colors gorgeously.
The ink on this paper is not compatible with my printer as it is visible and rubs off a little when touched, but it hasn't happened with other papers yet.
I wasted a lot of ink on this fake HP brand paper and it's frustrating.
79% liked the smooth paper texture, but 21% preferred a more textured finish
The paper has a beautiful glossy finish with a slight texture that reflects inkjet colors gorgeously.
I compared the thickness of this HP semi gloss paper with premium photo paper and found that it is about half as thick.
Even after printing on the paper, I can see through it.
73% praised for its vibrant print quality
Everyone commented on the vivid colors and how much the teacups & saucers looked as if made from china instead of paper.
82% appreciated the sturdy paper thickness, while 18% found it too flimsy
I bought 50 sheets of paper from Amazon and later found a vendor on Amazon who sells 100 sheets of 8x11 paper for under $10. My cheap Dell V313 all around printer prints great photos on it.
I compared the thickness of HP semi gloss paper with regular inkjet paper and premium photo paper. The HP semi gloss paper is 6.5 mil thick, which is half as thick as the expensive paper.

This paper is great for dye-based inks and watercolors as it immediately accepts the dyes and its thinner weight makes it perfect for collages and mixed media.

I have noticed that the quality of HP paper has decreased significantly in the past 1-2 years. The paper's edges are rough on one side and cut at a slight diagonal on the other, resulting in a small white line when printed on.
