About Epson Value Photo Paper Glossy
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
85% liked its long-lasting durability, but 15% found it prone to damage
I have not noticed any fading yet, but I cannot speak to the longevity of the photo-paper.
The economy version of the photo paper lacks certain ink absorbing features, so it needs to be treated like regular glossy paper.
I have noticed that the 'value' grade paper is thinner than the Epson Premium Glossy and cannot be auto-fed in my Epson Stylus Photo R300. I have to sit next to the printer and hand feed one sheet at a time. The paper curls as it comes out of the printer and the back of the paper is matte without the Epson logo. Additionally, the photo quality is grainy.
When I printed on this Epson paper, the shadows were noticeably terrible, which made me wonder if my printer was malfunctioning.
I am dissatisfied with the quality of the photo paper and would not buy it again even at a 90% discount.
78% praised for its compatibility with various inks, while 22% experienced compatibility issues
With generic inks, I estimate that the print costs about $.09.
When I switched to the 'Glossy Specialized Paper' setting, the colors came alive and the yellow tint vanished.
I am dissatisfied with the quality of Epson photo paper. It is sub-standard and overpriced.
I have noticed that the photo quality is grainy due to ink compatibility with the photo-paper.
75% liked the smooth paper texture, but 25% preferred a more textured finish
I noticed that the paper is a little thinner and the back isn't coated, so it's basically like an index card with one glossy side. However, the final print looks just as good on this as a premium glossy paper.

The paper curls as it comes out of the printer.
If I put more than 3 sheets in, my printer jams because the paper is too thick.

The photo paper has serious quality.
I think the paper is of poor quality and the company is overcharging for it.
I noticed that the photo quality is grainy, indicating poor print quality of the paper.
