About SLOW DOLPHIN Photo Video Studio 12ft (W) x 10ft (H) Heavy Duty Adjustable Photography Backdrop Stand Background Support System Kit
Overall Feedback:
82% positive
78% appreciated the easy adjustability, though 22% found it limited
The top bar comes in 4 sections, making it easy to adjust the length of the back drop kit.
I found that the pole couldn't sustain any weight, despite the drape being ultra thin and lightweight.
82% found it to be extremely durable, but 18% experienced some wear and tear
I plan to add more sturdiness to the equipment by getting metal dowels and weights to keep the base sturdy.
I have mentioned that the kit is durable as it is heavy enough to support the backdrop and light enough to carry easily.
I am not very impressed with the product and express my dissatisfaction with it.
89% found it easy to assemble, but 11% had some trouble
Overall, the set is good, especially for the price. I cannot comment on the horizontal bar.
I had to fix the spring inside the equipment which was making a lot of noise and fighting with the pole every time I changed the height. If I wasn't handy, I would have returned it.
80% praised its ability to hold large backgrounds, while 20% found it struggled with smaller ones
I am looking for a stand that can withstand hurricane winds and I am not willing to spend $400 on it.
The top bar bends a bit, but it is expected in this type of stand.
In windy conditions, the equipment kept blowing over and bent the bars that stabilize the legs, indicating a weak holding capacity.
77% found it to be extremely stable, while 23% experienced some wobbling
I have thrown away 2 other budget stands after several uses but this stand seems like it will last me a bit.
I plan to add sturdiness to the photo background support equipment by using metal dowels between the crossbars and weights to keep the base stable.
When fully assembled, the back drop kit has some deflection, but it has not been an issue for me.
I complained that the stand was not stable in windy conditions and the bars that stabilize the legs got bent.
I recommend purchasing several hand clamps from a hardware store to get a nice tight pull on the back screen across the frame.
