I purchased this item for a gender reveal event backdrop and balloon arch.
I initially thought that the support stand was too lightweight for my heavy-duty backdrop, but it held up very well for hours.
The green backdrop has added fun to our video and photo sessions.

I have not dared to try this for an outdoors event, so I haven't tested its durability. If I try it for an outdoors event, I'm willing to change my review.
If you need a super sturdy frame, especially on top of carpet, you may want to pay more for a different product.
