About Julius Studio 10.1 ft. Wide Extra Crossbar Length Adjustable Backdrop Stand
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
82% appreciated the easy adjustability, though 18% found it limited
I like how the cross bar goes together and slides back and forth easily to extend to just the right length.
It is difficult to adjust the product.
During photo shoots, I faced inconvenience as the stand pieces did not adjust properly and one piece was bent.
81% found it to be extremely durable, but 19% experienced some wear and tear
The product seems fragile and things are easily bent except the main rods. It is still sturdy enough that I don't worry, but I'm not sure how long it will last. It's great for the price, but durability is a concern.
I find the product to be flimsy and not durable.
Assembling the tablet was difficult and it had flimsy, broken, or non-existent parts.
87% found it easy to assemble
It was easy to assemble, although having a second person would have been helpful. It fits well into the carrying bag provided.
I found it easy to assemble the photo background support equipment without directions, but it still came with easy-to-read and understand directions.
It was easy for me to set up the photo background support equipment. The base/side poles were already connected and I just had to loosen the locks to adjust the height and base of the stand, then tighten it to secure it in place. The only part left to connect was the top pole, which were just two poles that I had to interlock, then tighten with the already placed washers and lock.
78% praised its ability to hold large backgrounds, while 22% found it struggled with smaller ones
The equipment holds up the 107 width savage paper as intended.
I easily hung a heavy canvas, tinsel curtains and lights on the frame without any wobbling.
The clips would work better if the backdrop was not 7 x 10 as there is no room to stretch them.
I can't use seamless paper or vinyl on the stand, but muslin works fine.
82% found it to be extremely stable, while 18% experienced some wobbling
I had a hard time getting the product to find an equilibrium with the height. Even if it was just a bit off on one of the legs, it would balance on 2 out of the 3 stilts causing it to slightly wobble, not by much though. This could be an inconvenience for artists in the artist alley with cramped spaces but it is just something to be careful and watchful about.
I am concerned that the stand may not handle heavy fabrics or wind if used outdoors.
I can adjust the background by repeatedly moving from side to side and attaching it to the top bar before raising it.
