About Tomcat Mouse Traps (Wooden), 4 Traps
Overall Feedback:
81% positive
75% were satisfied with the trap design, but 25% were dissatisfied
The older style of mouse traps were difficult to set and place without them going off in your hand. However, the newer style is much easier to set and place, thanks to the yellow plastic trigger pad.
I have complained that the trap design is bad as the mice are eating the bait without the trap springing even after setting the rod so hard.

I used peanut butter and gloves while setting up the traps because the mice would not go near things I touch.
74% liked the bait compatibility, but 26% disagreed
If I set the bait successfully without it immediately going off, the traps work great. However, the bait flies everywhere in crumbs.
I have to set the rod hard to set the trap, and the mice are eating the bait without the trap springing. This indicates poor bait compatibility of the pest-control-traps.

I suspect that the trap door is not closing fully due to the mouse-tails, which allows the chipmunks and moles to escape. This is a significant design flaw.
I was frustrated with the trap's design initially, as I found it impossible to set the bait/trigger. I thought the design was outdated and suggested the company should switch back to the metal bait/trigger as it worked better. However, I was able to adjust the bend on the trigger set wire and now the trap sets perfectly.
By placing peanut butter on the underside of the trigger all the way at the back, I achieved a 100% kill rate and improved the capture capacity of the pest-control-traps.
