I found the humane live mouse trap to be the best I've ever encountered. Its clever design makes it easy to set up and once the door is closed, it cannot be opened and cannot injure the mouse.
I appreciate the trap's design, specifically the bar that falls behind the door to lock it shut and prevent the pests from escaping.
87% appreciated the safety features, but 13% raised concerns
I advise using gloves while handling the trap as fingers need to be close to the wire mesh to lift the bar that holds the door shut.
I suggest using electrical tape to soften the sharp edges when catching chipmunks as they can get cut.

I set out multiple types of live-catch traps at the same time and found that some rodents have a preference for one over the other. However, I immediately caught 5 in this trap.
On the 5th night, I activated the traps with bait and caught 4 rats in 3 cages.
On the first night, the new trap worked great and I shared a video of woodrat capture and release.
