About Eco Defense Bed Bug Killer - USDA Biobased, Bed Bug Spray & Dust Mite Spray
Overall Feedback:
81% positive
77% appreciated the durable construction, while 23% experienced leaks or breaks
I have purchased a 2nd gallon of the product as weekly follow up treatments will be required.
I have purchased over 4 bottles of the product and used it in addition to a full array of defenses against bed bugs. I found that it works on contact but not for protection and prevention. It is very inefficient for protection and prevention.
79% liked the easy-to-use design, while 21% struggled with it
When I apply the spray to live adult bed bugs, it works on contact.
This product is not easy to use as it requires spraying the insect directly and treating an area where you do not see bugs will not kill them.
The product is difficult to use as the warning label says not to get it on your hands, but it is shipped in a low-quality spray bottle that leaks all over your hands when sprayed.
79% found it highly effective against pests, but 21% didn't see any improvement
I found that the spray is effective only for a short duration and has no residual killing effect once dry.
I found the product ineffective in reducing or eliminating the bed bug problem.
80% liked the lightweight and portable design
When I tried it, the spray worked like magic.
74% appreciated the adjustable spray pattern, though 26% found it inconsistent
I experienced throat irritation, coughing and watery eyes when starting to spray the product. This indicates that the spray pattern of the pest-control-sprayer may not be ideal.
I found it easier and less expensive to make my own repellent by filling up a spray bottle with about 2 cups of water, 1 cup of white vinegar and about 30 drops of peppermint oil and spraying around windows, baseboards, whatever, and it worked as well as this product.
When I sprayed the cup holder attached to the desk, the spray dried in spots.
