About COSMIRROR Lighted Makeup Vanity Mirror with 10X Magnifying Mirror
Overall Feedback:
81% positive
82% found it portable
The mirror can be placed on the side of the bathroom counter or won't be in the way as it is small enough.
72% liked the magnification levels, although 28% found them insufficient
I use the mirror several times a day because I am particular about my makeup and the 10x magnification 4 inch spot makes my eyebrows perfect.
I needed a flip mirror with a larger magnifying mirror as the one I received was smaller than expected.
I opened the box and found that the mirror is actually very small and the larger mirror is just a regular mirror.
80% appreciated the lighting, but 20% found it too dim
In a poorly lit room, the mirror's brightness is similar to the lowest setting on an iPhone flashlight.
The lights do not dim as advertised and the fluorescent lighting affects the way makeup looks when applied.
72% appreciated the build quality, whereas 28% found it flimsy
My only real complaint is the cheap plastic base and I'm not sure how it will hold up over time.
The mirror in my bathroom is not quite right. It only has one cool light color and is not bright enough. I am also unsure about its durability due to its low quality.
70% were satisfied with the long battery life , although 30% found it short-lived
I like the option to use batteries or plug it in to the wall. However, the batteries run out within a few days, so I keep it plugged in on my desk.
I noticed that the box specified 4 AAA batteries, but the mirror actually required 4 AA batteries.
The mirror required 4 AA batteries instead of 4 AAA as specified on the box.
After three weeks, the cord turns off by itself and I have to hit the power button 5-7 times to turn it back on.
I have noticed that the battery life is not good and it goes through batteries pretty fast, so I keep it plugged in.
80% liked the adjustability, though 20% found it limited
The mirror has an on/off mode and can be dimmed by holding the power button.
I have to adjust the mirror to see clearly because it doesn't lighten the skin while using it.
The mirror can run on battery or mains/USB power, which is a plus point. The generic micro-USB input makes it easy to find a spare cable if needed.
