I was prepared for the off-brand markers to dry out quickly, but they have remained deep black and permanent even after using them for a couple of months. I compared them with Sharpies and none of them have dried out even after daily use for a couple of months. I am satisfied with the ink longevity of the markers.
The markers were fine for a week and two weeks of student use in an art room, but they were not good anymore after that.
I was disappointed to find that the ink in many of the markers died out after only using them for four classes on the first day.
Initially, the ink looked great but disappeared within 30 seconds without being touched and thinned until barely visible.
