One pencil sharpener caught fire and the other shuts down after 6 pencils with smoke coming out.
I noticed that the sharpener lacks a safety stop feature and can easily eat up the pencil.
I have a safety concern with the pencil sharpener. The cutters are exposed when the shavings bin is removed, and the sharp cutter is exposed. There should be a cutout to kill the AC current when the bin is removed.
The tip of the pencil being reinforced by wood makes it a very unsafe implement.

I can sharpen factory new pencils in 3-5 seconds and previously sharpened pencils in just 2-3 seconds.
I was able to sharpen over 500 pencils in less than an hour and they were very sharp.

The sharpener is significantly quieter than my previous electric and battery powered sharpeners. The old ones had a very loud screeching noise and I had to keep changing the batteries in the battery operated one.
