On good paper, the color is a pretty medium-dark blue with nice shading and red sheen.
I really like this color. It reminds me of pthalo blue watercolor paint, but slightly desaturated. It's a subtle blue with a hint of green and just dark enough, but not too dark. Plus, it shows writing clearly on white, cream, or yellow paper.
The ink has a beautiful dark teal color with a hint of reddish purple undertones.
I love the color of the ink.
