I would describe the color as a wonderful and complicated coral, or shrimp pink if you like, with just enough orange to give it character.
The ink has a beautiful striking fuchsia pink color with a sparkle in it and provides good coverage on cream card stock without any streaking or bobbling.
I liked the color vibrancy of the ink so much that I purchased two more bottles of different colors, Murasaki-shikibu (a royal purple-deep and lovely) and Ama-iro (Sky blue).
