About Omron Walking Style IV Step Counter (HJ-325EW)
Overall Feedback:
82% positive
76% found it accurately tracked my steps, but 24% but not in details
I found that sorting out my stride length as indicated made the pedometer count steps accurately.
I returned the product because it could not be clipped to a waistband or worn around the neck as supplied, and thus I did not get to test its accuracy.
The pedometer is not accurate and only starts counting after 10 steps. It also only starts aerobic training after 10 minutes and the distance measurement is inaccurate even with proper step counting.
84% liked its long battery life, but 16% experienced frequent battery drains
I have been using the pedometer for 6 months and have not replaced the battery yet, even though I use it every day.
With daily use, the battery lasted for 15 months.
The pedometer does not register steps when walking slowly or up and down stairs.
70% found it built to last, but 30% experienced durability issues
I have other products made from the same company and they are great and wonderfully made, indicating the company has good build quality.
I am dissatisfied with the build quality of the pedometer. The algorithm could have been built in as an option, but it was not.
I have noticed that the pedometer undercounts steps by a few hundred in a day.
The new pedometer is almost 2 cm wider and twice as thick as the old one.
82% liked its seamless syncing with my phone, but 18% experienced connectivity issues
The pedometer does not require WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity.
I thought about buying a fit bit for my wife but knew she wouldn't use all the functions or want the hassle of connecting it to a phone or computer.
76% appreciated its comfortable design, but 24% found it uncomfortable
The belt clip wobbles around and bangs against everything in sight as I walk because it attaches to a cord connected to the unit instead of clipping on.
84% liked its user-friendly interface, while 16% found it confusing
I find it easy to set up and use talcum powder to measure my step length. My steps feel natural and comfortable.
I found the pedometer easy to set up and use, providing the information I needed in a simple and brilliant way.
I suggest this step counter as a simple and easy-to-use option from a well-known manufacturer with no additional features.
This pedometer is easy to use as you don't have to reenter your data when changing the battery.

I was impressed with the accuracy as the first ten steps entered exactly ten steps.
