I checked the accuracy of the pedometer multiple times and found it to be very accurate, unlike other pedometers I have owned.
I have had other pedometers before, but this one counts steps very accurately - it's a miracle!
I purchased a different brand of pedometer which was not accurate. After doing some research and reading reviews, I found this one and have been using it for several months. I am absolutely satisfied with its accuracy and ease of use.
The Omron pedometer is highly accurate and reliable, except for one instance where I ran faster than usual on a treadmill and it undercounted steps.

I accidentally put my pedometer through the wash while it was in my pocket. It got damaged and was left without the battery cover for 2 days, but it dried out and is working fine now.
I have been using it every day for three years now and have replaced the battery twice. This indicates good battery life.
I used the pedometer for 3, 12 hour shifts a week for over two years and the battery is still going strong.
The batteries last for 6 to 8 months, so it's worth getting a couple of extras.
