About Logitech G PRO Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
Overall Feedback:
71% positive
76% were impressed with the backlighting, but 24% weren't
Each key uses GX Brown switches and is individually backlit.
I have set my keyboard backlighting to an 'echo' scheme which changes the color of the key when I press it and then slowly brings it back to the original color. It's so much fun.
I like having a backlit keyboard, but it's not usable without access to the software to customize colors.
The dual function keys are not completely backlit.
76% highlighted the wrist rest, but 24% struggled
I found the keyboard lacking a wrist rest, but the feet can be adjusted to two positions which may eliminate the need for one.
I suggest adding a detachable wrist rest for more comfortable long-term use.
I regretted my purchase because of the absence of a wrist rest and higher input latency.
84% found it exceptional, but 16% faced issues
For people with a small desk space, the keyboard is great.
The keyboard feels a little jarring when coming straight from a full-sized board due to the lack of generous spacing between keys, despite having the weight of a full-sized keyboard.
89% liked the customization software
I find the software fantastic for creating macros and customizing.
81% were satisfied with the build quality and durability
The build quality is amazing with a solid metal plate at the bottom to prevent twisting or bending while playing. It may be heavy, but it's beneficial for stability during gaming.
The wrist rest is the only flaw in the keyboard. Placing the weight of my arm on the end of the rest causes the keyboard to tilt upward. I fixed this issue with a thin gel pad under the wrist rest. The edge of the wrist rest is bevelled and resting my wrist at the edge for large hands turns the bevelled edge into a pivot point, which causes the mini keyboard to flip upward or raise up. I suggest that this area should be redesigned or a stick-on rubber pad should be given to fix this issue.
I find the keyboard to be so low profile that it does not require a wrist rest.
