About Swingline Desktop Hole Punch, 2- 3 Hole Puncher, Precision Pro
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
89% liked the adjustable punching settings, but 11% found them confusing
There are no distance markings for the mounting holes, but inserting a sheet of paper with the desired hole-spacing will serve as an adjustment template.
I find the adjustable feature of the paper-punch not easy to adjust as it should be.
86% appreciated the high capacity, but 14% found it limited
At the maximum capacity of 10 pages, I have to work a little more to slide the paper in.
I can only punch a few pages at a time with the hole punch, which is suitable for home use.
91% praised the durable construction, but 9% experienced breakage
The paper punch has survived many falls and/or beer spills and is quite durable.
The three hole punch is well made and sturdy. It cleanly punches holes without damaging or crinkling the paper.
I was surprised that a hole punch could fail, as I thought it was impossible. This shows my negative experience with the durability of the paper-punch.
After three punches, I noticed that it stopped making clean holes and wasn't pushing the punches down far enough.
Rephrased:
After three punches, it stopped making clean holes and wasn't pushing the punches down far enough.
89% found it easy to use and maneuver, while 11% struggled with the mechanism
The paper punch is adjustable to punch 2 holes or 3 holes spaced differently and is easy to empty.
I found the handle of the paper-punch easy to use, even when punching 10 sheets at once.
The adjustable feature was not as easy to adjust as I thought it should be.
83% appreciated the easy maintenance, but 17% found it tedious
In just 3 months of regular use, the paper punch became a two-hole puncher.
The puncher is difficult to adjust and the plastic screws may break with excessive use, making it useless.
90% praised the clean punch quality
I need to put a little more force to punch, but it works by just putting weight on it.
The three hole punch is sturdy, well made and punches holes cleanly without damaging or crinkling the paper.
There are no distance markings for the mounting holes, but inserting a sheet of paper with the desired hole-spacing will serve as an adjustment template.
I have found that the hole punching mechanism cannot be adjusted. I have tried not putting the pages all the way in when punching, but this often results in poor quality. This is negative feedback regarding the adjustability of the paper-punch.
I am frustrated with the adjustability of the paper-punches. The alignment of the holes is very limiting and does not match up with the binder I have. It is not easy to move the punches around and it is nearly impossible to read the measurements on the holes behind the mechanism. I have compared it with another hole puncher that uses a slider and it takes seconds to adjust. My overall sentiment is negative.
