I find it difficult to close the portfolio and it is awkward to use.
When the padfolio is closed, the top overhangs the bottom by a significant amount.
When I close the portfolio, the leather leaves a residue on my paper which could affect my experience with it.

The leather is of high quality and durable, not bonded onto plastic or material.
I noticed that the cover material layer is only slightly over 1mm thick and won't last long.
I like the strong canvas-like material used for pockets that hold the pad of note paper, but I do not like the nylon material lining the compartments at all. It doesn't feel as durable as I expected and it also has a bit of a crackly feel.
