The snap on the padfolio is hard to snap even with nothing in it, indicating that the closure system is not easy to use.
The closure system of the padfolio is not user-friendly. The envelope-flap with snap does not lay completely open, making it hard to write on the pad of paper comfortably. Also, none of my pens are thin enough to fit in the pen tap next to this flap, and when I manage to affix one by the clip, it is very hard to snap the folder closed.
The magnetic clasp in the padfolio is slowly coming out of the flap, which is a critical flaw.

The pockets on the left are useful for keeping documents, recipes, business cards, and notes.
