About Scotch Long Lasting Storage Packaging Tape
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
86% praised for its strong adhesive, while 14% found it didn't stick well
I noticed that the adhesive strength of the packing tape is poor. Halfway through the roll, I realized that it was not sticking to the box and when I touched the tape, it was not sticky. It's just a strip of plastic.
I compared the adhesive strength of the tape to a Post-It note and found it to have very little adhesive strength.
85% praised its clear, easy-to-read labels
Scotch packing tape works better and does not add additional frustration to my packing tasks, which are already stressful.
85% liked the convenient dispenser design
I find that the dispenser of this packing tape is comfortable to hold and the tape unwinds smoothly and effortlessly.
I have used old cheap plastic tape dispensers with this tape and it worked fine. It's worth getting a heavier one if you use the tape a lot.
I used the tape right off the roll without a dispenser and never had an issue finding the end of the tape.
85% liked how easy it was to apply, while 15% found it difficult to use
This packing tape is easy to use with a comfortable dispenser and smooth unwinding of the tape.
I gave 3 stars for easy to use because the packing tape splits/frays too easily and is difficult to unravel.
85% appreciated its tear-resistant material, but 15% experienced tears
I have used the packing tape for sealing packages of various sizes and weights and it has never let me down.
When securing plastic bins, the packing tape tears pretty fast based on pressure put on them.
I am frustrated with the tape shredding and tearing while applying it, and spending too much time trying to find the end of the flimsy tape.
After a couple of days, the tape was peeling off the boxes, indicating that it may not have good tear resistance.
I noticed that the adhesive strength of the packing tape is poor. Halfway through the roll, I realized that it was not sticking to the box and when I touched the tape, it was not sticky. It's just a strip of plastic.
Once applied, the tape stuck decently and is about as good as I would expect for regular packing tape.
