About JARLINK Clear Packing Tape
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
85% praised for its strong adhesive, while 15% found it didn't stick well
The adhesive strength of this tape is excellent and superior to the previous one. The 2+ mil thickness is also a bonus, especially for closing large boxes that require squeezing as it doesn't stretch.
The adhesive strength is weaker compared to trusted brands like 3M, Scotch or Duck. It tends to bubble more often while applying.
The tape has good adhesion and strength, but the strong chemical smell makes it unusable.
I suggest that the tape is useless as it does not adhere to anything, especially in winter.
In the last order, many rolls did not have the same adhesion properties and our boxes opened despite being well-taped.
88% praised its clear, easy-to-read labels, but 12% found them hard to see
I sell stuff online and prefer to hand apply/cut tape for shipping envelopes, but I end up wasting a lot of tape from it splitting. This indicates that I have faced the problem of clear visibility of packing-tape personally.
88% liked the convenient dispenser design, but 12% found it flimsy
I have complained that the tape does not stay on the dispenser.
I have experienced issues with the dispenser quality and ease of use. It gets stuck on the dispenser and twists on itself when rolling out, even after using several rolls.
I have complained about the weak and soft core of the tape dispenser, which gets deformed easily and slides out often, ruining the dispensing of the tape.
88% liked how easy it was to apply, while 12% found it difficult to use
The sticky tape holds well.
I tested the tape by taping a box and letting it sit for a day or two, then peeled it off. The tape is of good quality.
I like the packing tape.
The product is more sticky and pliable than the previous one and just as strong.
I sell stuff online and prefer to hand apply/cut tape for shipping envelopes. However, I have faced the issue of tape splitting and have ended up wasting a lot of tape.
The tape left a horrible residue that is difficult to remove, even with goo gone.
89% appreciated its tear-resistant material, but 11% experienced tears
I have not seen the tape give way and it adheres well to cardboard boxes, indicating good tear resistance.
I have complained that the packing tape keeps tearing before I finish putting it on the boxes and doesn't stick properly.
I have complained that the packing tape splits easily when I apply it by hand. As I sell stuff online, I prefer to hand apply/cut tape for shipping envelopes, but end up wasting a lot of tape due to it not being tear-resistant enough.
The tape doesn't stick well to cardboard boxes.
88% appreciated the perfect thickness, while 12% found it too thin or narrow
The 2+ mil thickness of the tape is a bonus for me, especially for large boxes that require squeezing to close, as it doesn't stretch.
I feel like I am using 2.5 mil tape instead of the advertised 2.7 mil thickness.
The adhesive strength of this tape is excellent and superior to the previous one. The 2+ mil thickness is also a bonus, especially for closing large boxes that require squeezing as it doesn't stretch.
I have not tried the adhesion on other materials, but it is not a problem on cardboard boxes.
