The shoe organizer does not fit men's shoes, even size 9, and there is not enough lengthwise space for pumps without overlapping the next line of shoes.
I had to manually modify the hooks of the rack to fit my slightly thicker than average closet door as the part that hooks over the door was not wide enough.

I finally ditched this shoe organizer after 14 months because it fell apart one too many times. The little rubber ends that hold the rods onto the mount can't handle the weight of men's shoes, boots, etc.
I have complained that the shoe rack falsely advertises its capacity to hold 18 pairs of shoes. Pictures attached demonstrate that the only way to fit 18 pairs of shoes is to squish them together and destroy the structure of the shoe rack.
